O-China
Oh wow, that's China!

O-China Business Exchange operates as a division under ACICEC

/ 起源 · Origin

American Chinese International Cultural Exchange Council
(ACICEC)

ACICEC was established in 2012 by Teresa Lai in an effort to foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding between USA and China.

We have organized, amongst others, traditional Chinese painting exhibitions, foreign student exchange summer camps, as well as delegations of US officials to multi-city tours around China, etc.

Not only do we provide opportunities to cultural exchange engagements and strive to help all parties form mutually beneficial relationships, we also helped some such relationships materialize into government-level cooperation.

As such, O-China is established to extend ACICEC's resources into the business arena in hope of building more bridges and useful partnerships for all.

Experience

Redwood City and Millbrae Friendship Cities

►In 2015, ACICEC helped facilitate a Friendship City relationship between Redwood City and Qingyuan (a city north of Guangzhou), furthering Redwood City's ties to the Chinese region booming with tech and business. (Redwood City had become a Sister City to Zhuhai, south of Guangzhou, since 1992.)

►Also in 2015, ACICEC helped facilitate a Friendship City relationship between Millbrae and Leng Shuijiang, a city in the Hunan province of China. Millbrae later went on to become a Sister City to Dongguan, China, in 2020.

Teresa founded ACICEC in 2012 and has done amazing things in terms of cultural exchange. Now, she is expanding her vision of building bridges into the business sector.

With the support of a dedicated team, we strive to continue fostering mutually beneficial relationships across the pacific.
